Soon, and very soon, September will barge into us again!!!

At Pevensey Place, the month of September comes with only one meaning: Our annual Fund Raising Fete month! Organisations all over the world create innovative ways to generate additional income, and one of ours is to hold a fundraising fete once a year and generate much-needed funds. We will hold our 2018 fete, once again, at Underberg School on 22 September, starting at 9:00 am.

Preparations commenced months ago, and as usual, our Underberg community and all friends of Pevensey Place from all around South Africa are on the alert. Donations for the famous White Elephant Stall have constantly been flowing in. On the 22nd of September visitors to our fete will reap a bargain or two. Maybe three! Ever so grateful to all our donors, we also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who visit our fete event and support us by making purchases. Again we invite you, to come in numbers and offer support this year. Visit our Cake stall, plants stall, pancake stand and take a break at our tea garden where conversations are always vibrant.

We encourage all to spread the word about this event, and while you are at it, please share this short teaser video on life at Pevensey Place, Also, share the full-length video which tells our story in detail,

Winston Churchill boldly and accurately said ” We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”

At Pevensey Place, we get all the help we can from and through our wonderful community and friends, and we make it possible for our Residents to realize their potential. By supporting our cause, partners,  without doubt, participate in the creation of these amazing possibilities and ensuring that lives are filled with purpose and meaning. Is it not fully explained by Robert Byrne, who wrote that The purpose of life is a life of purpose?
