Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes…… Including you.

For all at Pevensey Place,……it is time to unplug for a few days!!!
Many thanks to Sani Round Table for organising yet another special weekend for our residents at Winklespruit. Excitement is super high at Pevensey as preparations for the trip take hold. Bags are being packed. Questions are being asked, sometimes over and over again. It is all part of the drill. We are fully aware it is all triggered by the special emotion of gratitude, that such an outing has been put together for them. We all love packing our lives with memories, dont we?
So we will leave on Saturday the 16th of November at 8:00am. Special programmes have been planned and it is going to be a wonderful weekend. We have agreed that this year’s edition of the Residents’ Christmas dinner and dance will be held at Winklespruit. Saturday evening will see us rock our dancing shoes and don our funniest costumes to make it a ‘Clown Bonanza Party” at the beach. Residents will play cricket at the beach, who knows, maybe the Round Tablers will have the nerve to challenge them. We will see.
Special mention also goes to Ronnel Power, who has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything falls into place. Her planning skills are nothing but amazing! All at Pevensey do appreciate her efforts.
We will be posting photos and updates on our facebook pages, just to keep everyone out there “in the loop”. We can not wait to make this happen for the residents, who occupy a very special place in our hearts.
- Parents who may wish to visit, please note that it is better you visit outside of meal times as the meals have already been ordered and no extras will be provided. Also please refrain from bringing tuck for residents to take back to Pevensey as we are struggling for space. An e mail has ben sent out to notify everyone in this regard.
Monday morning at 8am, we will pack our memories and heard back to the mountains. Parents will definitely do well to order some ear plugs for there will be lots of stories to be shared over the Christmas holidays. This is just a discreet warning!
